Walsh also announced she is set to appear in a play during the upcoming Perth Festival, which will kick off at the beginning of next year.

While away, the actor said she has worked on a new show as well as reprising her role on the cult classic hospital drama and Netflix’s Emily in Paris.

Walsh had come to Perth for love, after meeting Moora farmer Andrew Nixon on a cruise just before the pandemic hit.

Nixon is part of Nixon Farming, a prominent family farming enterprise in the Moora region, running merino sheep as well as rotating wheat, malt barley and canola.

During her first stint in WA, Walsh added the star power to local theatre and appeared in the maiden production of the Fremantle Theatre Company, The Other Place.

She also hit the local social scene and become the must-have guest at any soiree or charity event, including Telethon.

She left the State in June and rumours of her return were sparked last week after her western suburbs friend Claire Cosgriff — who is Racing and Wagering WA’s sponsorship and events manager — wishing the actor a happy birthday and dropped a massive hint.

“Babe not long now,” Cosgriff wrote.
