Perth rockers Tame Impala have announced the dates for their rescheduled 2021 tour.

The shows were originally set to take place in April of this year, but were pushed back due to the “constantly changing nature” of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new dates will see Tame Impala take the stage in December of next year, wrapping up their tour with a homecoming concert in Perth on December 18, 2021.

Any tickets that were purchased for the originally planned April 2020 tour will remain valid for the new 2021 dates, but if the 2021 dates clash for fans they can apply for a refund.

Parker purchased brand new digs in regional WA, a sprawling Yallingup property that has seen the Beastie Boys, Fatboy Slim and The Waifs walk the halls.

The “Wave House” as it’s known has attracted talent from all across the world thanks to its renowned in-house recording studio and amphitheatre.

It is the same place that he recorded the band’s ARIA award nominated debut album Innerspeaker, as well as their 2015 follow-up Currents.

Parker picked up the property for $2.75 million dollars, scoring about a $1 million discount as the property was originally advertised for $3.7 million in June.
