Suzuki has confirmed mildly updated versions of the Swift Sport and Ignis will arrive in Australia.

It also scores a digital speedometer and the choice of a new orange/black two-tone colour .

The Ignis Series II meanwhile doesn’t add any new tech, but rather styling tweaks.

There’s a trio of new colours — Ivory, Khaki and Black — plus anew front grille and newly designed front and rear bumpers.

Suzuki Australia general manager Michael Pachota said the cosmetic changes would make a difference for a car such as this.

“The Ignis has always been a unique proposition,” he said.

“A light compact SUV with eye-catching and stylish looks, the new and improved Ignis Series II has solidified the vehicle's bold design, capturing its ultimate essence as a funky every day city car.”

It will continue to be offered in GL and GLX variants.

We’ll bring you the updated pricing when it comes to hand.
