WA Olympians celebrate at Goody Two’s

After five long years of 4am starts and punishing training sessions, our WA athletes were finally able to toast their successes with some pop and fizz at basement bar Goody Two’s. Elite athletes across all sports, including swimmers and medallists Zac Incerti and Brianna Throssell, gathered to let their hair down with family and friends at the official welcome home party for the WA Olympians, having finished their mandatory quarantine period. The cocktail bar, owned by triple Olympian swimmer Eamon Sullivan, ensured celebrations ran into the night, with free-flowing Ichiban cocktails and Laurent-Perrier champagne, along with tasty bites and beats. Olympic gymnast Allana Slater delivered a touching speech, drawing attention to this year’s crop of athletes’ unique experience of competing in Tokyo during a pandemic.
