Albany driver Ron Belfield walked away with the spoils at Les Gorman Park on Saturday as he claimed the production sedans feature.

The feature race was the highlight of the day at Mt Barker Speedway Club.

Belfield claimed two of the three heat races and finished second in the other preliminary before producing a stellar drive in the final.

He started from the front row and never coughed up the lead, going on to win by more than three seconds ahead of Michael Clark and Shane Devonshire.
