IN PICTURES: Footy fans from across the Great Southern proudly don club colours for epic GSFL grand final day

Hundreds of passionate players, coaches, volunteers and spectators from across the Great Southern filtered through the gates of Retravision Stadium on Saturday for the biggest sporting day of the year. Proudly donning their club colours, footy fans from across the region loosened their vocal cords and had their flags at the ready as the Great Southern Football League hosted grand finals for all four grades. As each goal was kicked throughout the day, boisterous cheers from the crowd were boosted by echoing horns from cars that lined the boundary. The day finished with Albany clinching back-to-back league premierships with a stirring victory over Royals. The Lions did, however, get their chance to celebrate with their colts and reserves sides each notching impressive wins. Tigers’ 16s side kicked the day off by taking out the flag with a memorable victory over Denmark-Walpole.
