A presentation on the future of renewable energy sparked lively discussion among Great Southern business leaders at an Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry event.
The event, held at Retravision Stadium on July 27, brought together a room of local business representatives to hear from Tim Green and the WaveX team about the renewable energy project and the technology being developed in the region.
Attendees were given insight into the project’s prototypes, technology and the reasons behind its location as well as how the project could contribute to the future of renewable energy.
The presentations prompted conversations among attendees with many leaving with a greater understanding of the work being undertaken on their doorstep.
The event also provided an opportunity for the ACCI to recognise the continued growth of its local membership with a lengthy list of new and renewing members read out during the evening.
The strong membership numbers highlight the continued value businesses place on connecting with and supporting the local businesses in the community.
