Denmark music festival New Farm, New Country is making a triumphant return this November after a successful debut, with Albany trio The Red Tails set to headline.

The Red Tails, comprised of successful duo Tammy and Simon London with The Waifs’ Vikki Thorn, are leading an impressive lineup of 21 bands from across WA and interstate, with acts travelling from Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania to be part of the festival weekend.

The festival is scheduled for November 6 to 8, returning to the picturesque New Farm campground between Denmark and Walpole.

The festival celebrates Australia’s independent music scene across three days of live shows, with an eclectic mix of genres on display.

The Red Tails will be joined by Elly McK and the Unbelievers, Adele Oliver, Misty Harlowe, Kangaroos with Machine Guns, Ange Boxall, Savanah Solomon, Charlie Mcgee, Tanya Ransom, Gray Brothers, Polly Medlen Band, Polite Society, and last year’s crowd favourites The Wilds.

DJ Joe West is returning to spin some classic country vinyl sets, and Great Southern locals The Jig Is Up and Annie Johnson also making an appearance.

The aim of the laid-back festival is to bring music and nature together, creating a unique festival experience at the 25-hectare New Farm campground with shows on throughout the day to keep attendees entertained.

Organisers aim to support local industry through partnerships with regional suppliers and companies for staging, production, catering and logistics, working to build the event into a key long-term event on the Great Southern calendar.

Tickets are now on sale for events and camping, and attendees are encouraged to settle in and make a weekend of it, with camping available to book on-site and plenty of other attractions to explore close by like William Bay National Park.

Tickets for the festival and camping are both available through the New Farm, New Country website.
