Traders will be updated on plans to tackle stage three of Margaret River’s main street redevelopment, but the full effort is still on track to finish in time for Christmas.

The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River received the final $3.08 million funding earlier this month during a visit from Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan.

Shire project manager Peter Brown said officers and roadworks builder BCP were working to finalise delivery of the last stage of the plan.

“Details will be provided to the community, traders and media once this process is completed,” he said.

The final stage includes the Fearn Avenue festival precinct and the stretch between Willmott Avenue and Wallcliffe Road.
