Chicken Treat Kickers move to top of Malcolm Douglas Cup table with 11-6 win over Broome FC

In a thrilling showdown in round two of the Malcolm Douglas Cup, the Chicken Treat Kickers emerged victorious against Broome FC with a commanding 11-6 win.

Last Wednesday’s match showcased a battle of resilience and skill, with both teams putting up a fierce fight.

The game began with a hotly contested first half, with the Chicken Treat Kickers holding a narrow 4-3 lead over Broome FC heading into the break.

Markus Beuke, the goalkeeper for the Kickers, displayed exceptional performance between the sticks, frustrating the home side with a series of remarkable saves.

In the second half, the Chicken Treat Kickers heeded the advice of playmaker Ben Connealy, extending their lead over Broome FC thanks to some strong midfield play from Connealy and Patrick Van Praet.
