A woman has been indecently assaulted by a man who entered her caravan at a Broome tourist park last weekend.

The incident occurred at a Walcott Street caravan park between 10 and 11pm on Sunday night, May 16.

The man entered her caravan while the woman was asleep and indecently assaulted her before running off in the direction of Town Beach.

Police are now calling for people who were in the vicinity of the caravan park at the time, and those who have CCTV footage or witnessed suspicious activity nearby, to come forward.
