Federal Government to roll out second cash bonus for five million struggling Aussies to stimulate the economy

A second $750 bonus cash payment will start being given to welfare recipients this week as part of the Federal Government's plan to stimulate the national economy and help lower income people survive the financial hit of COVID-19.

It is estimated about five million Australians will receive the payment at a total cost of $3.8 billion.
