Armadale detectives charge 18-year-old over alleged theft of motorcycles in Byford and Seville Grove

A teenager has been charged and another is wanted for questioning over a string of robberies during which off-road motorcycles were stolen. Armadale detectives arrested the 18-year-old man on Boat Way in Golden Bay, 60km south of Perth, after they executed a search warrant on Thursday. Police allege the teen stole several off-road motorcycles from properties in Byford and Seville Grove. He is due to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on Friday on a string of burglary and stealing charges. Police are still trying to track down a 16-year-old they want to speak to over the thefts. Officers also released images of two motorcycles they are trying to track down. Members of the public are urged not to approach suspects on the motorcycles and instead contact police immediately on 131 444.
