Police are hunting a man who allegedly snuck into a caravan and indecently assaulted a sleeping woman in the State’s north.

The woman was attacked in a Broome caravan park at some time between 10pm and 11pm on Sunday night, according to Police.

The man was last seen running towards Town Beach from the Walcott Street caravan park.

“Detectives wish to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of the caravan park between 9pm and 11.30pm,” police said in a statement issued Tuesday.

Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity — or has CCTV of the area — is asked to contact Broome Police on 9103 9000.
