Driver makes lucky escape after ploughing into Mindarie medical centre

A driver has narrowly avoided injuries after ploughing his car into a Mindarie medical centre yesterday.

The crash happened about 6.30pm when the driver reportedly lost control and drove his white Ford wagon into the entrance of the centre.

It is understood firefighters had to rescue the trapped driver, however he did not suffer any injuries.

The crash caused extensive damage to the door and window or the centre.
