Round nine of the Geraldton Netball Association saw big wins for the favourites as the bottom teams continued to struggle.

Kazuals blew away the Falcons 72-35 after they scored 20 goals to five in a second-quarter blitz.

The Falcons were slightly more competitive in the second half but the damage had already been done.

The undefeated Aztecs ground out a typically dominant victory in their game with Lightning.

They outscored their opponents in every quarter except the last to run out 50-35 winners.

The league will now go on a two-week mid-season break for school holidays.

“This is a time to re-charge, rest and get ready for the second half of the 2022 season; for those travelling, please extra take care on the roads,” association president Kelly Eastough said.

It will be the Pink round when players return after the break; players, coaches, umpires and spectators will be encouraged to wear something pink to help raise funds for the McGrath Foundation and Breast Cancer Network Australia.
