Welcome to the Great Northern Football League’s 2024 season of footy! This year we will be running a 17-round fixture across colts, reserves, women’s and league.

We are looking forward to July when our colts and men represent the GNFL at the Nutrien Ag country week competition in Perth, followed by our ladies who head down in October and just a couple of weeks ago we got to showcase some of the talent that will take part in country week.

Thank you to coaches Jason Graham (colts), Nathan Johansen (women’s) and Leith Teakle (men) and all your support staff for once again taking on the coaching roles.

To the sponsors who have come on board this year with the GNFL, we thank you for your ongoing support.

All these sponsors can be found in our weekly football budgets. I encourage all our football community to get behind our sponsors and show our appreciation.

This year’s GNFL board has been working hard behind the scenes in preparation for this year’s season.

Our 2024 GNFL board is Vanessa Halliday (VP), Daniel Tyler, Russell Banks, Grant Russell, Steve Pratt, Robert Bennett and Selina Kiddle. We are also supported by our operations manager Jo Starling.

Round one kicks off this weekend — Northampton vs Railway up at Purcher International Oval, and then back in town at WA Country Builders Stadium Towns host Mullewa. Best of luck to all teams playing this weekend.
