Police are calling for witnesses to a fatal cash near Meelon last week.

Just before 1pm on June 2, a group of six motorcyclists turned into Burnside Road from Coolup Road East.

A motorcyclist in the group, riding a Harley-Davidson, failed to negotiate a sweeping right hand curve, left the road and struck a culvert and a tree.

St John Ambulance attended the crash, however the 21-year-old rider from Warnbro died at the scene.

A police spokeswoman said Major Crash investigations were ongoing and officers hoped any witnesses to the crash, or anyone that saw the rider prior to the crash, would come forward.

Anyone with information on the crash could call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
