Brunswick braces for massive weekend as 93rd Brunswick Show takes over town

A South West town’s biggest day of the year will be celebrated once again this weekend, as the Brunswick Show is expected to draw in massive crowds from across the region.
The 2024 Brunswick Show will make its 93rd return this Saturday, with the showgrounds to host the fun-filled celebration of agriculture, community and entertainment.
Brunswick Agricultural Society president David Power said he was expecting the show to host more than 15,000 attendees, with this year’s theme exploring innovation in agriculture.
“This year we’re looking at how agriculture was done in the early 1900s, from just bare hands to the early days of machinery, right up to today with the introduction of robotics, drones and other high-end technology,” he said.
“And of course, with that there will be plenty of other entertainment around the grounds during the day.”
The showgrounds will be packed with market stalls, rides and more throughout the day, with something for everyone at the show.
From live agricultural displays and demonstrations to cattle judging competitions and the ever-popular Brunswick Lions Club Animal Nursery, show-goers will be able to get first-hand experience of the agricultural world.
If thrills are more their speed, they can try their hand on the bucking bull ride while raising money for this year’s charity beneficiary, Toby for Childhood Cancer.
Aussie TV icons Bluey and Bingo will also be at the show ready to entertain their many fans, and South32’s fireworks display will light up the night sky at 8pm for a grand finale.
Tickets for the show are available at the gates on the day or online at www.brunswickshow.com.au.
