The Health Department has confirmed a coronavirus patient within the Shire of Harvey has now recovered.

The department said the COVID-19 patient, who was residing within the shire, had recovered on Wednesday.

However, that was not the only recovered case within the South West, with all nine of the known cases also recovering.

Harvey shire president Paul Gillett said it was good news and thanked the community for making good decisions and adhering to the Federal Government’s advice.
