Driver’s lucky escape after car rolls over

A motorist escaped serious injury this morning after a single vehicle crashed and rolled several times on Forrest Highway.

About 7.20am a male driver was travelling on Forrest Highway near Forestry Road when he reportedly swerved to avoid hitting a kangaroo.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, which then rolled over several times.

The male driver was taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A police spokeswoman said initial investigations indicated the driver swerved to miss a kangaroo.

The spokeswoman said investigations were continuing.
