Two cars were damaged in separate crashes in Harvey last week.

A white Ford Falcon struck a tree on Herbert Road in the early hours of Monday morning.

Sgt Scott Gillis said the incident occurred about 1.30am and the driver was not injured.

He had not had any reports of the car crash on Seventh Street, where a small blue car appeared to have its front end severely damaged.

Sgt Gillis encouraged drivers to take caution as the wet weather approaches.

“Ensure you drive to conditions and be prepared to adjust your driving behaviour if the conditions change,” Sgt Gillis said.
