The Harvey Hockey Club has recruited a set of star brothers from Eaton in a bid to pocket back-to-back premierships this season. The club shocked onlookers last year when it won its first grand final in 27 years. Hungry for another, the group picked up some extra talent from around the region. Several players from Eaton have switched the blue and yellow for the red and will strengthen the already-solid side. Brothers Joel and Tyler McCracken have arrived from Eaton along with goalie Ben Dunlop. Harvey hockey stalwarts Brenton and Daniel Fielder, Darren Heasman, Chris Cherubino and Keane Bavin are expected to have strong seasons. Coach Dean Pfitzner said the boys had started training at the new Harvey facility — The Boundary. He said the captaincy was expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
