Last Tuesday, more than 100 golfers from 14 clubs across the South West teed off for the Harvey-Waroona Reporter ladies open day at the Harvey Golf Club.

Boyup Brook pair Rhonda Parker and Jenny Aird won with a score of 46 followed by Judith Doyle, of Harvey, and Carly Diack, of Bunbury, on 38 with a countback.

Harvey women’s captain Judith Doyle said the club was happy with the big turn out and great conditions on the course.

“It was a fantastic day, and we couldn’t fault the weather,” she said.

“It’s always nice to catch up with and meet new members from other clubs.

“We look forward to continuing the event in the future.”

Winners received a voucher for Retravision Harvey, donated by event sponsor the Harvey-Waroona Reporter.
