From pirouetting on stage to sizzling sausages on a barbecue, a Harvey dance school is fired up to raise funds for its end of year variety show.

Bianca Meese launched the Bianca Panetta Academy of Dance in 2010 and her 70-student end of year dance performance has yet to miss a step.

The group will be holding its showcase at the end of the year and is pulling out all stops to bolster the annual event, which included a sausage sizzle fundraiser earlier this month.

Ms Meese said students were excited about performing on stage.

“I’ve had some of the same kids since 2010, it’s really amazing to watch them grow up,” she said.

“We’ve done Happy Feet, Happy Holidays, musicals, Out Of This World, Step Back In Time, we’ve done so many,”

“I have a theme in mind for this year, but I haven’t told the kids yet.”

This year’s show at the Harvey Recreation Centre will be held on November 27.

Ms Meese said she was grateful for all the donations so far.
