Police are asking for witnesses after a man was allegedly assaulted at a popular agriculture show earlier this month. A male received a small cut and swelling to his face after the incident at the Waroona Show on October 9, which police said happened around 6.30pm near a toilet block at the Waroona Memorial Hall. Waroona Police officer-in-charge Sergeant Ross Blake said it was an isolated incident that was not indicative of the event. “It has not led to increased concerns regarding peoples safety,” he said. “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and would be prepared to assist with the investigation. “The Waroona Show was extremely well attended this year and we are very happy with how it went.” Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or email Waroona.email@example.com.
