Music lovers danced into Myalup recently to see accomplished country music performer Bill Chambers with Myalup’s Ray Jones.
Jones launched his new album Sleeping Rough which he wrote after seeing homelessness on the streets of Perth.
He is also donating $3 from every album sale to a homeless charity, including the Bunbury Soup Van.
The talented singer-songwriter said he picked Myalup because it was his hometown.
“Some people may ask ‘why Myalup?’, but Myalup’s my home so I thought it would be great to launch my album surrounded by my loved ones,” Jones said. He also said he was thrilled to work with Bill Chambers, father of country music superstar Kasey Chambers.
