Australind boy Gabriel Kalle had a stellar performance at the Bunbury Geographe Gift last month.

The competition, which was held over two days, attracted top athletes from around the State.

Thousands flocked to the Bunbury Runners Club for the 2020 event and young regional athletes like Gabriel got the chance to face-off against some admirable talent.

Gabriel said he had been training hard for the running contest and was delighted with his performance.

“I was thrilled with how I ran and will hopefully be back next year to give it another crack,” he said. The 11-year-old has been a part of the prestigious Little Athletics Club since the age of five.
