Oversize load warning for highways

Drivers are asked to be aware of over-sized trucks which will be travelling on South West roads this weekend.

Premier Coal has advised that two massive haul trucks and their trays, four over-sized, escorted loads in total, are scheduled to be transported from Perth to Premier Coal in Collie via Coalfields Highway and Forrest Highway on Saturday and Sunday, January 7 and 8.

Times are yet to be finalised.

An excavator is also scheduled to be transported from Waroona to the Premier Coal site via South Western Highway and Coalfields Highway, on Monday, January 9.

The company said every effort will be made to minimise the impact on other road users.
