RAC helicopter called to Preston Beach

FIRE and Rescue Service volunteers have freed a man from his car after a single vehicle crash near Preston Beach this afternoon.

The crash was reported at 12.42pm on Forrest Highway near the intersection with Johnston Road.

Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services responded and helped free the man who was trapped in the vehicle.

He was flown by RAC Rescue Helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital.
