Yarloop residents remembered the horrific blaze that tore apart their town during their fourth drive-around event last Tuesday.
More than 12 volunteer brigades from Dardanup to Preston Beach turned up to support Yarloop as part of the anniversary.
They drove around Yarloop in their trucks and uniforms, and held a minute’s silence for the two people who died in the fire, and for all those who had lost their lives in the fires over east.
Many of the volunteer firefighters who attended the drive around fought in the 2016 Waroona-Yarloop fires.
Waroona and Brunswick brigades were called to small bushfire incidents during the Tuesday evening event, which they managed to get under control.
