Vietnam War veterans from across the district have been invited to take up an opportunity to be formally recognised for their service, 50 years since Australia’s withdrawal from the conflict.

As part of this year’s Remembrance Day service at the Harvey War Memorial, Forrest MHR Nola Marino will be formally present medallions and certificates to those who served during Australia’s 11-year involvement.

The Harvey RSL sub-branch is calling on those who would like to receive their gifts during the service to contact special functions committee chair Laurie Fraser on 0400 446 954 or clanfraser09@bigpond.com by November 3.
