The future of community health services is in the hands of South West residents, after being given the opportunity to take part in planning workshops for Harvey.

Information from the workshops will contribute to the development of a string of regional hospitals, with workshops being held across the region in coming months.

Harvey residents will be able to have their say at the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre next Friday

It comes as a result of the Bunbury Hospital redevelopment and there are hopes it will improve patient outcomes and experiences.

WACHS South West regional director Kerry Winsor said the work-shops ensure regional hospitals and health services meet community needs now and into the future.

“Our patients are at the centre of everything that we do, including service design,” she said.
