Meghan is watching Prince Philip's funeral proceedings from her home in Los Angeles as she is unable to attend the event in person, sources close to the duchess of Sussex say.

The wife of Prince Harry had been "hopeful" she would be able to attend the funeral, however, due to the stage of her pregnancy she is at, she was advised not to travel by her doctor.

Only 30 people have been allowed to attend due to the strict coronavirus rules in place surrounding funerals in the UK.

Prince Harry, who is also known as the duke of Sussex, will be wearing a selection of medals with his suit after it was confirmed the royals will be wearing morning suits at the service.

The prince will be wearing the KCVO Neck Order and Star, Afghanistan Campaign medal, Gold Jubilee medal, and Diamond Jubilee medal as a nod to his time in the army.
