It was a successful day for the association, with its 15 and Under Green team taking the premiership in their grade and the association receiving the competition’s sportsmanship award.

Club president Megan Burvill said she was proud of the association’s efforts, particularly in winning the sportsmanship award.

“We pride ourselves on conducting ourselves with sportsmanship in all of our areas and all of our age groups, so that was really pleasing,” she said.

“It was a very good win for our 15 and Unders as well, against some tough competition during the day.”
