Revolting behaviour will be on display during the Manjimup Repertory Club’s two-week production of Old People are Revolting.

From 7.30pm on October 30, 31, November 6 and 7 and 1.30pm on November 1 and 8, the small cast of seven will bring about this laugh-out-loud comedy. When the city council decides to end its rates rebate for the elderly, the residents of Sunshine Retirement Village decide to break away from the country and form their own independent nation to avoid the tax.

The decision comes with explosive results, which turns the residents into a viral internet sensation.

In his solo director debut, Howard Evans said he had a good cast of people to fill the memorable roles.
