Williams’ mid-court and shooters tightened up their passing structure and cherished the ball once in hand, with shooters Megan Hardie and Clare Hardie converting some much-needed goals to settle the scoreline by the end of the first term.

Pingelly shooters Sheree Blechynden and Tracey Swami were accurate and connected well with their teammates, rewarding their team’s full-court press of defence which tirelessly squeezed Williams’ mid-court players and forced them to cough up the ball.
