Emergency on major Perth road as man is left with injuries after crashing motorbike

Emergency crews have rushed to the scene of a crash on a major Perth road involving a man riding a motorbike.

The incident was reported just after 9am after the man crashed on Welshpool Road in Welshpool, south east of Perth, on Sunday.

A police spokesperson confirmed the motorbike was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

St John Ambulance is on the scene and is expected to take a man to hospital with several injuries, including to his legs.
