On Tuesday a turkey was spotted shoe shopping at Hype in the outlet shopping centre.

A video uploaded to Twitter shows the large bird at the entrance to the store, seemingly nonplussed as shoppers walk by scratching their heads.

The bird sighting had Twitter users perplexed.

“How did a turkey get into Watertown? I didn’t even know we had turkeys roaming around in the wild here,” wrote one Twitter user.
