Greater Bunbury Youth Mental Health Forum back again, with organisers promising a bigger and better event

Youth Mental Health is set to be in the spotlight with Year 10-12 students invited to the Greater Bunbury Youth Mental Health Forum 2026 on Monday. The second instalment of the forum is set to build on last year’s, which had more than 110 students, 20 staff and 16 stallholders come together. Headlined by North Melbourne VFLW star and Waangkiny founder Courtney Ugle and disability activist Madison Heady, the event will break out in to sessions run by headspace and WA Youth Mental Health not-for-profit Zero2Hero. The forum serves as an opportunity for students to connect with peers and learn valuable skills for managing mental health and navigating life challenges. Run by Blue Leaf, the forum kicks off at 9am at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre Cube and will wrap up at 2.30pm. Blue Leaf coordinator Bec McLevie said the importance of gaining an understanding around youth mental health cannot be understated. “I think it’s really important for young people to build skills and awareness before issues arise,” she said. “Having a set of tools to use when times get tough is so important.”
