One man is dead and another seriously injured after a workplace accident in WA’s remote south-east.

The pair are believed to have been working on the roof of a shed at a property near Condingup, east of Esperance, yesterday when they fell several metres about 2pm.

A 25-year-old worker died from his injuries while another man aged in his early 20s was taken by ambulance to Esperance Hospital with multiple injuries.

He was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital by the Royal Flying Doctors Service about 10pm and is now in a stable condition.

WorkSafe is investigating the incident and have sent inspectors to examine the scene and speak with witnesses.
