Health and wellbeing is once again being added to Busselton’s list of attractions as Yoga on the Jetty returns again for 2022.

The annual season of yoga and meditation launched ahead of Christmas last year, which provides an hour escape from the hustle and bustle of life at the end of the jetty with both yoga and meditation.

Surrounded by blue water as far as the eye can see, flowing yoga has been a successful staple of the Busselton Jetty’s summer season for five years, ever since it partnered with Katie Garnett.

Ms Garnett, who runs KatieYoga, said the special view at the end of the iconic pier created a picturesque setting for the popular event.

“it’s such an iconic and beautiful place here, sometimes we forget to take a moment to appreciate where we live which is why I really got on board five years ago,” she said.

“Yoga and meditation is great for both the body and mind, and at this time of year, it’s perfect to start things off right by focusing on that aspect of our health.

“We’re so in the open here we feed off the surroundings and each experience is different, but focuses on awakening your body and calming your mind.”

Open to both locals and tourists, Yoga on the Jetty will this year welcome back sundowners and mini retreats this month in addition to Saturday morning yoga classes.
