Rockingham Regional Arts members will showcase their work at the Rockingham Art Centre with their “Great to be Small” exhibition starting on February 20.

Running for its sixth year, the annual “smalls” exhibition will feature several little gems, suitable for display in even the smallest of homes.

The exhibition will this year also help a special cause, with a raffle up for grabs to raise money for those affected by the Wooroloo and Hills bushfires.

Rockingham Regional Arts’ Lorri Skinner said the exhibition started as a way of promoting affordable quality artwork to the public, and to “spread the joy that art can bring”.

“This year, members were distressed with the devastation the fires have caused the community and our fire workers,” she said.

“Eager to lend some assistance in some way, we decided to run a large raffle with some generous donations from our local talented artists.

“We hope this will help those in need and give the public an opportunity to donate.”

The exhibition runs from February 20-28, from 10am to 4pm daily.
