Harvey named finalist in 2026 7NEWS Top Tourism Town Awards

It’s exciting news for Harvey as the town is announced as a finalist for the 2026 7NEWS Top Tourism Town Awards in the small tourism town category.

Shire of Harvey president Michelle Campbell said she was thrilled to see Harvey named as a finalist.

“This achievement really belongs to our whole community — from our tourism operators and local businesses to our volunteers and residents — who all contribute to creating a welcoming and memorable destination,” she said.

“We’re up against some of Western Australia’s most loved tourism towns, so it’s a very competitive field, but we’re incredibly proud to be in the running.”

Cr Campbell encouraged everyone to get behind the town and vote.

“If you’ve enjoyed what Harvey has to offer, we’d love your support — every vote will help us in the push to bring home the gold.”

The public can vote at the Tourism WA website, with voting to close at 5pm on May 1.
