Popular South West sport facility Leschenault Leisure Centre has joined the list of growing exposure sites across the South West after recording a COVID-positive case.

The positive case visited the LLC on two occasions between the hours of 5pm and 7.30pm on Monday February 28 and Tuesday March 1, the centre has since undergone cleaning and will remain open to the public.

Visitors and patrons to the centre have been asked to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, get tested and isolate until test results are received and if symptoms develop.

It comes after Bunbury-based sport facility South West Sports Centre recorded a positive case on Monday February 28.

The Shire of Harvey now joins a growing list of cases within the South West which recorded 24 new cases on Wednesday, taking the region’s total active cases to 87.

South West exposure sites include locations in Yallingup, Naturaliste, Eaton and Busselton with the State recording an additional 2423 new cases on Thursday.
