First regional clinic set to open in Bunbury

Regional WA’s first COVID-19 Clinic will open its doors at Bunbury Hospital today.

It comes as the State and Federal governments lay down strict measures and bolster the healthcare system in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus as cases continue to rise.

Non-essential gatherings of 500 or more people, indoor gatherings of more than 100 people and overseas travel have all been banned.

The ripple effect has been enormous for South West businesses, community groups and sporting clubs who have been dealt blow after blow as events across the region continue to be cancelled.

People with fever and/or respiratory symptoms who have travelled overseas in the past 14 days or had close contact with a confirmed case will be tested at Bunbury’s COVID Clinic, which will open from 10am-4pm daily.
