When news broke last September the Harvey Harvest Festival would not be going ahead in 2024 after its historic venue was not given approval to host the event, frustration and disappointment spread within the community.

Now, eight months later, the dust has settled and Harvey Main Street Inc. has announced it is gearing up for the festival to return in 2025 bigger and better than ever.

In preparation for the 26th festival, Harvey Main Street Inc. is calling on local businesses to create individual events and experiences for next year’s program.

Organising chair Joe Capogreco said he was excited to bring the event back in its expanded format after a year’s hiatus.

“The Harvey Harvest Festival is always a fantastic time that not only showcases our great region but also offers plenty of fun for those of us who are fortunate enough to call the Harvey region home,” he said.

“I always look forward to seeing the variety of live entertainment and the smiling faces on people of all ages during this wonderful community event.”

Organisers are aiming to champion the produce of the Harvey region, showcasing food, drinks and tourism opportunities from around the region.

The fan favourite WA Grape Stomping Championships, which are a highlight of each festival, will be returning next year.

The festival is scheduled to be held from Friday, March 7, to Sunday, March 9, in 2025. Organisers will share updates via their Facebook page.

Local businesses that want to host an event are encouraged to submit any expressions of interest to harveyharvestinfo@gmail.com.
