Harvey Shire Council voted to allow plans for the renewable energy facility Benger Solar Farm to be advertised for public comment.

In a report to council, staff recommended a further report be provided to the council at the conclusion of the advertising period, regardless if no submissions have been received.

Officers also recommended the method of valuation on the property be changed from Unimproved Value to Gross Rental Value for rates purposes.
