Student picked for leaders tour

Harvey High School year 10 student Kyla Ramos is one of the two teenagers from Western Australia who has been selected to attend a five-day women’s power trip to Canberra.

Country to Canberra gives 18 young rural women leaders the opportunity to meet influential politicians and CEOs in the nation’s capital at the end of November.

The Power Trip will include a Powerful Women's Breakfast, meetings with federal ministers, a tour of Parliament, leadership and public speaking training and more.
