Harvey Bulls will be looking to consolidate their SWFL women’s finals berth in their last home game of the season.

The Bulls are set to host Dunsborough Sharks at Harvey Oval on Sunday during the 20th round of the 2022 SWFL season after having a bye during round 19.

With just three games left in the home and away season, the Bulls will be looking to continue building momentum towards a top-four finish.

Harvey are in a good position to make the finals, sitting in fourth place with a 9-4 record, below Donnybrook merely by percentage.

The Bulls will also be looking to start building a late winning streak after previously bouncing back from being kept scoreless by Donnybrook in round 17 to triumph over Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault 3.5 (23) to 0.6 (6) in round 18.

Meanwhile, Dunsborough will have a tough challenge ahead of them when they make their return to the field after two consecutive byes.

The Sharks sit in ninth position on the ladder and are still yet to record their inaugural win since joining the South West Football League.

Dunsborough will also be looking to end the unenviable streak of being kept scoreless since scoring a single point against Bunbury in round 13 and being kept goalless since round five when they booted two goals against Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault.

While Dunsborough will not be achieving a finals berth this year, the Sharks have shown plenty of heart on the field and have brought a strong defensive approach to their game.

The last time the Bulls and the Sharks met was in round eight, when the match-up at Dunsborough Playing Fields had to be called off at half time due to thunder and lightning from a cold front that washed over the South West.

That contest saw Harvey win the match 6.9 (45) to 0.0 (0).
